Press Release5/11/05 Boeing Adds Gly-Vak™ To Maintenance ManualsEaston, MD – May 11, 2005 - Boeing will offer to operators of their commercial aircraft the option of using Celeste Industries Corporation's Gly-Vak™ vacuum line de-scaling maintenance chemical. Although this addition to the manuals is effective immediately, customers will not see the official notification until the scheduled AMM revision date for each aircraft model. According to the Maintenance Engineering Technical Service Department of Boeing Corporation, Gly-Vak™ will be listed in all customer's maintenance manuals (AMM 38-32-00/701) as they are updated for each of their scheduled revisions. The following dates are when each model's AMM will be revised and available to customers listing Gly-Vak™ as an alternative to crushed ice and vinegar or crushed ice and HB60.
When listed, Gly-Vak™ will not require crushed ice as the means for dispersing the active chemical. Celeste's vacuum de-scaling chemical is specially formulated with unique ingredients that allow for complete coating of the vacuum waste lines without the need for ice or other carriers. In addition, Gly-Vak™ can be left in the vacuum system overnight without any safety, environmental or equipment damage concerns. Being non-corrosive, the product safely coats pipe walls and emulsifies mineral and urine scale that can cause clogs, damage and malodors. Please contact your Celeste Industries Corp. Account Manager for additional performance data, brochures, use procedures and video of Gly-Vak™. Back to Media Coverage |
